GEF Live
Child safety standards
Last updated 15 October 2026 · This page is in English.
GEF Live, the website at geflive.com and the GEF app, is run for the Global Entrepreneurship Festival. It lets festival ticket holders and exhibitors ask questions, chat during sessions and message one another. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM), anywhere in GEF Live.
What is prohibited
- Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers children, including child sexual abuse material of any kind (real, drawn or generated).
- Grooming: contacting, befriending or manipulating a child for sexual purposes, or soliciting sexual content from a child.
- Sextortion, trafficking, or any attempt to arrange contact with a child for abuse.
- Sharing, requesting, linking to or advertising any of the above.
GEF Live is for festival ticket holders and isn’t directed at children under 16. These rules apply to every account, profile, question, chat message, direct message and upload, and are part of our terms of use.
How to report
- In the app: tap Report on any session question or chat message. It goes to the festival’s moderators straight away.
- Anything else (a direct message, a profile, a photo): email info@globalentrepreneurshipfestival.com with “Child safety” in the subject. Say who and what it concerns, but don’t attach or forward the material itself.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact the local police first. In Egypt, call 122, or the child helpline 16000.
What we do
- We review every child-safety report as the highest priority and act within 24 hours.
- We remove the content, suspend the account involved and keep it suspended; the person can no longer sign in to GEF Live.
- We report confirmed child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the Egyptian authorities, as the law requires, and preserve what they need.
- We cooperate with law enforcement investigations.
